Was it a coincidence or was it a warning?
I recently (about a week prior to the tornado) had watched the Joplin documentary after several of my friends had watched it and recommended it. Fast forward to the night before the tornado I had a vivid dream about a tornado. I didn't really think about it at the time or think it was weird until we had a significant tornado the very next night, and I have thought about it a lot since. In my dream there was a tornado on a mountain, and I was running to get to shelter. I was sheltering in an open wooden house frame, which didn't make sense to me because that wouldn't have offered any shelter in real life. As I looked back to see the tornado in my dream, it was already gone and there was another one coming, then I woke up. I told my mum about it, and she told me that she also had a dream about a tornado the same night I did. I'm not sure if it was a coincidence or a divine warning, but the timing is strange. Since the tornado happened, I've talked to a lot of people in my community that it's affected. It's affected me as well; in ways I couldn't anticipate. One of my customers was killed in the tornado heading to her basement for shelter, that really shook me, the tornado completely blew her house away and all that was left was the concrete slab foundation (I saw with my own eyes what was left of her house, absolutely nothing). Another one of my customers saw the tornado through her front door heading directly towards her house and it turned at the last possible second, sparing her and her house. My other customer watched from her basement as the buildings across from her got destroyed by the tornado. Another customer of mine had watched the tornado from her front porch asking it to take her with it as she had recently lost her dad; the tornado skipped over her and her house. The tornado left businesses and homes damaged around my work; some lightly damaged, some half-standing and some fully demolished. I also saw smashed cars, downed powerlines, uprooted trees, debris all-over the roads and ceiling insulation everywhere. In the forest where the tornado hit it left huge swaths of trees mowed down as well as shredded and debarked trees that now look like broken toothpicks. I saw a house that looked like it'd been picked up and dropped upside down and lots of houses without roofs if they weren't flattened. I also saw a house untouched with damage all around it. The house had a wooden picket fence around it and everything inside that fence wasn't damaged, the forest outside of it was flattened on all sides, to me that was a miracle looking at it. I had never seen devastation like this prior to this tornado, it's still unbelievable.
